Happy Spring!

It’s been such a long, cold winter. Here in southeastern Pennsylvania, the landscape is
finally starting to come alive again.

My husband and I got on the motorcycles to take it all in and experience the change.

It was a beautiful day, and we didn’t want to miss it, even though rain was in the
forecast. Apparently, neither did anyone else. There were motorcycles everywhere.

What struck me most were the trees. Dogwoods were blooming alongside cherry
blossoms. The air carried a soft fragrance. White, pink, yellow, and fresh green filled the
landscape. The grass, lush and bright, seemed to be waking up after its winter rest.

We made it home just as the rain began. Perfect timing.

As the years of riding add up, I’ve started to notice something. There were so many
moments in the past that I rushed through without even realizing it.

Now, I find myself wanting something different—

To slow down,

To take in what’s here while it’s here,

Because I know how quickly it changes.

In another day/week/month, the landscape will look different again. New blooms will
take their place. The air will grow warmer. The rhythm will shift.

And if I’m not paying attention, I could miss it.

Spring has a way of reminding us that life moves forward whether we notice it or not.
The question is whether we allow ourselves to be present for it.
Take a Moment to Reflect:

-Where in your life are things beginning to shift or open up?
-What might you be moving through too quickly to fully experience?
-What would it look like to slow down and take it in, even for a moment?

The season is changing.

You get to decide how you experience it.

Until next time, happy leading!

To your success,

Dr. Julie
